Hello, my name is John Mace, and along with Diane Mace, we are co-owners of the Mace Insurance Agency. I am from the Downriver Community of Southgate and graduated high school from Wyandotte St. Patrick. I attended Eastern Michigan University and taught high school math at Gibralter Carlson High School from 1969 to 1994. For twenty years of my teaching career and ten years since I retired, I have been a proud MEEMIC representative. I earned my agent's license in 1975. I started out selling and servicing personal lines insurance from my home in Brownstown and later in my Riverview home. I am now selling insurance out of my office in Downtown Trenton. We are able to take care of your insurance needs, the customer, in a more professional manner.

Being in business for 30 years, we are now writing policies for the children of my original customers. I notice, too, my original customers are retiring and leaving the state for warmer climates. It has been a pleasure to service the educational community in the Downriver area for the last thirty years.

Diane Mace is co-owner of the Mace Insurance Agency. Diane Mace is from the Downriver area growing up in Rockwood. She has been a fully licensed agent with MEEMIC and serviced our clients since 1984. When we first started the agency, she was the initial contact person in the office while I was teaching full time. You can find her daily in the Trenton office.

We can not run our agency by ourselves which is where our great office staff comes in to play.

Barbara Manning I reside in the Downriver area with my husband and three children. We are extremely active in the community with school and spirit activities. My insurance career began in 1977 as an underwriter for a large company. I received my Michigan P & C license in 1986. I went on to work for a national company that sold group P & C products to corporations. I joined the Mace Agency in December 2003 as a CSR.

Julie Hoskins is a customer service representative at the Mace Agency. She has worked in insurance industry since 1991 and obtained her licenses for P&C and L&H in 1998. Julie was born and raised in Mancelona, small northern lower Michigan town. She and her husband, Joe, now reside in Carelton, MI - where the snow is measured in feet. They have five grown children, ten grandchildren and 2 great grand children. In their free time they enjoy their RV in the summer time and are avid Red Wing fans.

Dan Mace is the son of John and Diane Mace. He is now a licensed agent at the Mace Agency. Dan is a downriver product going to school in the Riverview system through the 8th grade and then attending and graduating from Grosse Ile High School. He worked part time at the Mace Agency taking pictures of homes until 2006 when he joined the agency full time. In 2009 he studied for and received his agent license from the State of Michigan and now is a fully licensed sales agent at the Mace Agency.
